why use baby golightly?
baby golightly helps make travelling with newborns and toddlers convenient – easy even. with our service, parents can leave their cumbersome, expensive baby gear at home, and instead, rent their favourite travel gear with us. We are open for pick up and returns at Copenhagen Airport when you land and fly out.

 

what can I rent from your page?
strollers, buggies, pushchairs, prams, and travel beds are all available to rent on our website as well as many fantastic add-ons to make your travel enjoyable in all kinds of weather.

 

does baby golightly exist in other airports?
not yet, but we plan to expand as soon as possible, so keep your eyes out for baby golightly in your local airports in the years to come.

 

service, products & the use of them

where can I find manuals for the equipment I have rented?
an ultrashort, laminated instructional manual follows each product that you rent. And at any time or place, you can go to the product page on our website and check out the instructional video, faq, full description and the warnings for any of the products you have rented.

 

can I rent rain covers, footmuffs, ride boards for siblings etc. to match the strollers and prams from baby golightly?
yes! Under every product, there is a list of possible add-ons for any particular product. Simply check the boxes by the add-ons you need and they will be added to your cart.

 

what happens if the products I have rented from baby golightly gets lost or damaged in my rental period?
we ask you to be kind to our products and to take good care of them, but we also know that sometimes accidents happen. We have global insurance, which means that we cover any damages to the products during the rental period as well as loss of it. Take a look at our terms & conditions to find the specific procedure that follows in the case a customer loses rented equipment or it gets damaged during their rental period.

 

should I clean the rented products before returning it to baby golightly?
no, cleaning and handling are included in the price for every product we rent out. We ensure a thorough cleaning of all our products so they are ready for the next customer. Our customers are not responsible for the cleanliness of products upon return. That being said, we always ask you to be good to our products and take good care of them.

 

changes, cancellations & refunds

does baby golightly refund my booking if I cancel?
we understand that sometimes plans change, so cancellations made up to 48 hours before the scheduled bookings will be fully refunded. Cancellations on orders made after this period will still receive a refund of 50 % of the total cost of the order. To make cancellations and changes to your order, please shoot us an email on [email protected]

 

how do I cancel or make changes to my booking?
bookings can be cancelled and changed by emailing to us at [email protected] We confirm changes, refunds etc. via emails as well. For the specifics regarding changes and cancellations, please check out our terms & conditions.

how do I pay for your service?
all payments are made through our website with debit or credit card or via Paypal. After choosing your desired dates and the products you need, just follow the checkout process to make your payment.

 

where do I pick up and return my order within the regular opening hours?
within opening hours orders can be picked up and returned at Aviator’s Ticket Office in Copenhagen Airport’s Terminal 2. Please check out our map of the airport under “find us”. Also, when you order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your order and that same map, so the location for picking up and returning your order will be clear.

 

can I pick up my order outside of regular opening hours? sorry to say, that it is not possible to pick up or return outside of our opening hours at the moment. We are working a solution that will extend our service to all hours of the day, so please keep an eye out here on our website. Also, please note that the existing opening hours are almost 24/7 already.

 

does baby golightly deliver orders?
sorry to say, that we do not deliver at the moment. We are working on a delivery solution to hotels, private addresses etc., so please keep an eye out here on our website.

 

how can I be sure that my order will be ready for me?
when you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your order and a map of the airport with the location for picking up and returning your order.

 

bringing the rented products on flights

can we bring the Babyzen YOYO into the cabin when we flight?
yes, you can! because the Babyzen YOYO (both the 0+ and 6+) meets the size requirements for carry-on/cabin/hand luggage, you can bring it into the flight cabin as your child’s hand luggage.
 
simply fold the Babyzen YOYO down and store it in the overhead compartment in the flight cabin with the rest of your hand luggage.
 
we always recommend that you check with your airline beforehand to confirm that they allow it the Babyzen YOYO in the cabin, as some low-cost airlines do not follow standard size guidelines – that being said we have not experienced any airline refusing the YOYO magic yet.
 
note, that if the flight cabin is overbooked with cabin luggage or the airline does not allow the Babyzen YOYO in the flight cabin for some other reason, you are still allowed to bring it past security, enjoy it through the airport and walk all the way to the gate with it – there the airline personnel will simply take it off your hands and check it in for you, so you can pick it up with the rest of your checked-in luggage at the luggage claim in your destination airport.

 

* the International Air Transport Association (IATA) sets guidelines for hand luggage/carry-on luggage size to be a maximum length of 56 cm / 22 in, width of 45 cm / 18 in and depth of 25 cm / 10 in including all handles, side pockets, wheels etc. These guidelines are not mandatory, however, and individual airlines can and do vary their requirements, so we always recommend checking with your airline before flying.

 

can I bring any of baby golightly’s products with me when we fly out?
yes, that is what we do! You can bring any of our product with you when you fly.
 
the Babyzens that we rent out, fold down to fit hand luggage size, so you don’t have to check it in – just bring it into the flight cabin as your child’s hand/cabin luggage*. Read more on our product pages for Babyzen YOYO 0+ and Babyzen YOYO 6+.
 
the BabyBjörn travel bed on our site is always packed down in a smart bag with a handle, so it is ready to fly out with you. The travel bed, however, is not hand/cabin size luggage, so it must be checked in as a piece of luggage.
